A Snap shot into the Algae to Biofuels Industry

Replacing fossil fuels with biofuels is a duanting task. Over the past 100 years, our economy has been built upon the burning of fossil fuel. The sheer volume of these fossil fuels that we burn can not easily be matched by other sustainable sources. To put it into perspective, over the past 100 years we have consumed more than half of the existing oil from millions of years of natural biomas-to-oil conversion. Now if we are going to continue on our road of progress and further evolve our global economies we need to be able to tap into a sustainable source of bioenergy. The monumental task of harvesting as much energy in a year as we consum is challenging to say the least. Due to the dificulty of achieving our required ends, here at Pacific Rim BioEnergy we look around at the accomplishments within the industry not as a competitive environment, but as a colaborative one. This news page is dedicated to some of the more important accomplishments within our company and in the industry around us.
